He was great in 18/19 and 19/20, one of their weakest links now. Not a bad player but shouldn't play right back.
Klopp knows more than us. On a budget no where near the two Mancs and Chelsea, TAA was part of a starting 11 that won the vast majority of games, his medal collection is complete. His defensive game hasn’t regressed … throughout those earlier years internet experts (not Liverpool fans) slagged off TAA and his defending, saying he should be replaced. Klopp simply doesn’t do an immovable bank of 4 with two pivots in front of them, he doesn’t believe in that football.

Not many do an immovable back of four with two pivotes... struggle to think of one single manager setting up like that.
Klopp knows more than us, every single manager in this league and most likely every other professional league knows more than us. Not saying its Klopps fault he doesn't have a better right back.

But he is a very simple target. Could see it vs Brighton this season where Trossard destroyed him. Or in the 0-1 win against them a few years ago where GP put BDB as a left winger and TAA had no solution how to handle this strange opponent.

If Liverpool could find a good right back somewhere I can easily see TAA being turned into a right winger or a central midfielder.

Arteta, Emery, Mourinho and Conte very often play a double pivot, also not with marauding fullbacks. Much to the angst of Spurs fans when they don’t win. Mourinho and Conte were often attacked for this in the EPL. Guardiola has often resorted to it where the opposition are highly effective at getting results against them through attacking football.

Albion have always done well against Liverpool bar the 5-1. The wide open spaces really suits us. The Klopp system relies on Fabinho and sometimes Henderson to cover. But Father Time has caught up on them, FSG decided last summer if they couldn’t get Tchouameni, they’d go for another DM in summer 2023. Very strategic, very naive.

Generally on the road Liverpool fans get dog's abuse from opposition fans but I'm pleased to say that when they come to The Amex we don't do this. I reckon it's because we have a lot more class than London/Manchester fans.
Norwich fans do that, getting really wound up and angry for Liverpool visits. Before the goals fly in for another home defeat.

And it was Man Ure yobs who pulled their stadium, Carrot Road, apart in the mid 70s (when United were where they ought to be - in tier 2). If Naarwich are like that with Liverpool, they are sad and dim.

According to someone that lived there lately, the locals are a few decades behind - not quite marvelling at the moon like some - but certainly not in the 21st century yet either.

Couldn't see Trossard in that anywhere.................
Great spot Dazza. Looks like RDZ ain’t taking anymore sulking from Leo. I like that stance.

I think that he is sulking in part at us unilaterally triggering his 1 year contract extension. Failure at the World Cup would play a role also though. The fake injury is annoying but I guess that’s all part of the process of him getting his Big Six move.

This one rings true, his body language in his two games has been atrocious.
Cold eyed clinician striker has misleading deceptive body language like Jimmy Greaves. If this is all true, it is a major blow, verging on opportunity for another?

Listening to Klopp's press conference it sounds like Nunez is out injured for tomorrow.
I've just watched Klopp's press conference. He seems very edgy and irritated.
He ripped into 'Carl' for asking about the reason why they are unlikely to sign anyone in this transfer window.
Saying that the reporter should know that there is no money available and that if he did buy a player what does he do when the 4 or 5 injured players return?
He's rattled.
