Last season it was clearly stated by the Premier League that only the top 12 teams in (now only one division) Premier League 2 would qualify for the 2024-25 Premier League International Cup. Albion finished 13th and looked to have just missed out.

It was a bit surprising therefore to see Albion announce PL International Cup fixtures for 2024-25 today. However, it seems that the competition has been increased in size from 3 8-team divisions (with 12 English clubs) to 4 8-team divisions (with 16 English clubs).

Albion will face RB Leipzig, RSC Anderlecht, Real Sociedad and Sporting CP.

Interesting wording about the venues - Venues for the games will be confirmed soon.
Thought all games at the training ground

Yep, I was a bit surprised by that, but perhaps they are finalising details for one (or more) of the games to be played at the Amex Stadium?

We played Celtic at the Amex... perhaps we're required to play one game at home.

Now we really know we’ve made it if they are changing the competition rules to accommodate the big clubs🤣

Great draw.

Red Bull and Real Sociedad could be a challenge, depends on how many u21/B-players they bring and how many U19 players.
Anderlecht and Sporting are notoriously shit in the U21/U23 age groups because they promote all the talent to the first team very quickly. Should have a very good chance to beat them.
