Doyle does look class.

He trained with the first team on the open training session too - possibly not far away from from first team minutes.

Certainly looks confident on the ball from what I’ve seen & physically the most first team ready of any of our youngsters. Collects the ball well & looks to drive forward.

Doyle has a air about him, confidence, assurance and poise. He covers a lot of ground and was often at the heart of the action. Very impressive player.

Step by step. We've seen the likes of Roberts, Jenks, Molumby, Connolly shine at U21 level but not manage the breakthrough with us.

Playing men's football is the test, many of those youngsters who we've bought in from abroad were already doing this albeit in weaker leagues.

I suspect Doyle will get a Championship loan next season, particularly if we're still after Dewsbury Hall.
