Fannying about at the back.

They're going to slot nicely in the first team!!

Fallen apart at the start of the second half, some poor play

O'Mahony comes on as sub. We're three down. Commentator says he's got time to grab a couple of goals, I laugh, 5 mins later he's on the scoresheet and 10 mins after that a near post header flies just over. There's no doubt he's our best prospect.

Credit to West Ham. They're top for a reason. Bigger, stronger, relentless. And now Atom just red carded having conceded a penalty for a studs up challenge. Webster has been poor too. He's done.

Edit - Hall saves penalty, but sharper Hammers player bangs in rebound as Webster et al jog goalward.

F/T 1-4.

West Ham were excellent, they took their chances and the score could have been bigger had it not been for 3 or 4 top saves from Hall.

O'Mahony, Mullins, Peupion were the pick of our bunch. Doyle was disappointing tonight compared with his great display vs WBA.

However, the takeaway has to be Webster's form. It is no exaggeration to say we missed Leigh Kavanagh tonight.

Why was the WH player sent off ? Didn’t see what happened………(and I was 30 yards away  )
Left hook thrown, a glancing blow, right in front of the ref. McConville the target I think. Correct decision, as was Atom's red.

I think Hall has a long road ahead of him to overtake a few of our many keepers
Stunning save in the first half, and excellent at coming for crosses. Of course, we don't know where Rushworth and Beadle are by comparison as we don't actually get to se them - but Hall looked pretty OK tonight.

Thought he came out for them well but then mostly flapped at crosses when he got there…….first half save was incredible though. Almost threw one in in the second half but got away with it. Not big for a goalie, maybe it’s an Aussie thing

Beadle is playing regularly for Sheffield Wednesday. Their fans seem to like him.

Yes, we know where they are (at Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea)- but we don't know where they are, career development wise/nearness to the first team-wise, as Hall might be.

Apologies but not too sure regarding coming for crosses, he did have a go but unconvincing, certainly did not try and catch anything apart from the one Atom cleared off the line to save his blushes.

What about the one he palmed away all the way to the touchline? That was some 'flap'!
