Some people on here are seriously jealous of people who might have saved hard for trips like this.
God help anyone who posts about the European games next season.

i wouldn’t do Shenandoah from Atlanta as it’s well over 500 miles. However, it would make a great road trip if you’re driving between games (Philly - Atlanta). The bad news … it’s a 16 hour drive.

If you do the road trip, go inland via Gettysburg (couple of hours out of Philadelphia) as that is quite something. Then pick up the Skyline Drive which has amazing views over the valley. A must for Civil War buffs.

Atlanta: visit Stone Mountain and Fat Matt’s Rib Shack. I always do the latter when I’m in town … dirt cheap, a taste of the south, belting food and a live band.

Then fly to NYC for the last game.

Personally, I’d fly to Atlanta as it’s pretty easy. Only problem, watch out for summer storms which often cause delays at this time of year … don’t depend on any tight flights to get to a game.

In my case, I’m going to skip it and get stuck into New Jersey like someone who has already visited every state and major city (except Detroit and Pittsburgh) … Georgia in July is even less appealing than Brentford 😝

I don't know if the club will put on any events/meetups but I suspect the Premier League will.

Accommodation in Philly was very expensive when I booked mine but you will probably want to stay as close to city center as possible, as most of the touristy stuff is in walking distance. The stadium is in South Philly so you could stay there if you're only flying in and out for the match.

In terms of things to do in Philly, lots of museums and historical sites there, walking tours are always good and there may be a baseball game on depending what dates you're flying in/out.
Any opinions on whether to spend more time in Philadelphia or Atlanta between those two games? Need to work out which day to fly from Philly to Atlanta. Suspect I'll aim for a Monday flight just in case there are any issues with summer storms (hadn't even considered that tbh!).

More likely formal Premier League events supported bu the club than specific Albion things.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are not far from Atlanta and if you want to celebrate Pascal, then a visit to the city of Helen is a must - a German town in Georgia.

Just a 600 mile drive 🙂

I much prefer Philly. Apart from anything else, it won’t be quite as hot and humid as Atlanta and is easier to get around on foot.

All of the big cities in the US have their pros and cons.

Philadelphia is an interesting one. The historical element is well known but there is the drug issue which is quite well-publicised at the moment (Kensington area is pretty bad) so plan your trip around avoiding those places would be my advice. I haven't been since 2017 except for a transfer in the airport last year so can't comment.

The first time I went to Atlanta it was pretty rough - I left a mall through the wrong side apparently and a panicked security guard put me in his golf buggy and took me to safety telling me that I would have been robbed and beaten had I walked much further. However, my last visit in 2019 was brilliant with no atmosphere.

These trips are always what you make them though, do your research and have a loose plan and you will enjoy it!

FYI, those Yankees/Mets tickets are already almost sold out. If you want them get them now on the secondary market.

Will our names be on the tickets in tandem with random ID checks?

Asking on behalf of someone else .

Weather should not be an issue even with summer storms. They may delay an hour or so but you'll get through. Just don't shedjewel the flight on match day

So true. I work in Chicago sometimes a hour or 2 at a time in the worst neighborhoods for the last eight years and have never witnessed anything violent except the aftermath when the police make their presence known during their investigation. I have seen 20 to 30 of those kinds of scenes.

I have someone who often remarks about me taking holidays, but is happy to spend whatever 40 fags a day costs? I bet that adds up to a couple of holidays. Shirley, it's about choice on what you decide to spunk your hard earned cash on?

I would suspect on Ticketmaster or another app like that where they can be downloaded to your phone so if the internet connection isn't good you have a copy on your phone and you could send to another phone if necessary. No ID checks at all
