Does anyone know what happened to the bloke that ran this?

I lent him some stuff from the Goldstone but have never had it back.

I thought Darren Freeman owned it. See him around St Aubyns now and again.

That was YEARS ago, and opened at the worst possible time given the club's state. Would probably be quite popular now...

Freemans cafe was top of sackville rd. Albion cafe was Blatchington road.

The one on Blatchington Road was called the Hungry Seagull and was an embarrassment.
I ate in their once and told the owner to go back to whatever it was he was doing before.
It closed after a few weeks.

So you went in there once - only one time - and felt it necessary to have a go at the proprietor?

No it was the disabled section sign, got it the same time as my exec club sign, lent it to him for his cafe, but wanted to give it back to the club if they had any use for it in a possible club musuem at Falmer.
