Surely this shows that however well Liverpool have done and they have, it should be the Sheffield Utd manager that wins the manager of the year award ...
But are Liverpool’s squad valued so highly because of how well they’ve performed for a couple of seasons?
For example Andy Robertson didn’t cost Liverpool that much but is now probably valued very highly.
To judge versus their output it's probably more suitable to look at their cost, you're right. Shows the value that Klopp adds as a coach, but shows even greater the value Wilder has added.
Either way, the table above is a very interesting insight into how each club is perceived. Is there a player by player breakdown?
Palace’s strategy of signing older players means that they tend to have lower resale values.
20m for Dunk and 40m for Maupay seems arse about face

Don't they base their signings on the Tinder method.
Swipe left for very ultra under age or swipe right for ultra over the hill.
Many on here might not value him, but Maupay's goals/assists and big chances mean he was an absolute steal at +£15m.
How many Premier League strikers, comfortably on track for a double figure haul, do you think you'd be able to buy for £20m?
In fairness how many could be bought for as little as £40m?
It's not about their value to us though. Dunk is worth probably £50m to the Albion, but that does make him objectively a £50m player. Maupay on the other hand would probably have scored 10+ goals in his first season and is very much a player with a great future. He's only 23 remember.
