Not sure if anyone else saw them but the two new lads were in the king and queen on Saturday watching the Spain game with Calderon who seemed to be their translator and Brezovan who seemed to be their security guard, they are both really nice lads (although Baz was trying to pull any thing that moved) overjoyed to be here and at being asked for their autographs

Lancing By Sea
A Inglaterra desde Comunicaciones

Translated (by Google translate):
Cristian Augustine Baz Battipiedi and hit, with almost no time to realize the great leap that led from the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Agriculture to the English seaside town of Brighton. With this rapid crossing of the Atlantic Ocean will continue to play in the Third Division, but instead of the jersey will look now Communications of the Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, which participates in the League One

The Uruguayan Gustavo Poyet, coach of British club, Buenos Aires went looking for players to strengthen their team. And for a few days the two are elected at its new destination, where they signed one-year contract. And they gave another example of the export capacity of Argentine football.

The history of Battipiedi (20 years) is unique. The midfielder played for fun in the country. Until the watchful eye of Carlos Bilardo he found and recommended testing in AFA and so the kid of 18 years was signed in Communications, he won in the Fourth Division and then went to First, history Clarín published in due course. Baz (23) is forward or midfielder, made the lower divisions in San Lorenzo, became Communications, spent a year in Olympus, in the National B and returned to Community.

Clarin Battipiedi explains that "the first impression is barbaric, luckily we are very comfortable. As far as I can say that the city is very quiet, to be coastal and be in summer many people from all over summer vacation. Although still not traveled much, we notice that a building is old but very pretty. " With regard to the club, Battipiedi says "It's amazing how they treat us. As if we had been for some time. The people are very warm and very comfortable facilities. We have everything to train and we had no problem. "

Baz added that "the place where we train, if it is not the same because the club has an agreement with the University of Sussex, is incredible. All trees, away from the ciuidad and very carefully, with courts are beautiful and dramatic backdrop of mountains. "

Founded in 1901 Brighton and Hove Albion, the Seagulls (gulls), descended from the Football League Champsionship (Second Division) in 2005-06. In League One, which starts in August and there are 24 teams competing three promotions in dispute.

On the official website of the club, Poyet said "we have given to these two boys the chance to earn a place in European football. This gives us the reassurance that they will give 100 percent every day. We had information about them, but we wanted to see them in action in Argentina.

Batti is a central midfielder with great quality on the ball, but also with great force.

Baz Chinese can play wide on the left or as a second point, if the kind of football we played last year I think will be a great asset to the team. Both have the need to fight for their sites and have to adjust to being in England, I know they understand. "

Girls and/or boys?

Just girls!

Baz spoke some English but not much Calde was translating, Batti spoke really good English. They both had Spain and Argentina flags on their cheeks but when I asked Calde (as a Catalan) if he wanted Spain to win he said No but he had to pretend as the pub was full of Spainards.
