I wonder if anyone has checked the shareholders agreement. Some agreements have restrictions on who you can sell to or who you have to offer the shares to first, this could run and run!

So, at £1 per share, the company is worth £650m? A company which is losing £8m p.a.
They might be worth 10p. Sounds like a scam to me.

Would all those nay sayers buy shares if the club was offering them for sale - either as new issue or existing holder's shares?
That really is the bottom line when deciding whether or not to buy - the motives, whether they be good or bad, of the seller is irrelevant.
On a personal basis I believe that fan ownership, be it large or small, is good for the club.
For a large amount of shares - yes. 1% makes absolutely no difference as it wont affect the controlling stake - so even if you bought shares - TB could still do what he likes and you will pretty much get no say in what happens.
In essence - its £1 for a bit of paper.
£1 Million for 1% of a company ?!?! On that basis, BHAFC is worth £100 Million + !!
Ridiculous - Im Out.
But you have to start somewhere - yes it's only ~1% but that's 1% more than previously and does set a precedent - it may prompt some of the smaller shareholders to offload their shares as well to recover their investment.
Which then leads the question about just how charitable a move is this from DK?Maybe at over-inflate rates, yes.
1% of BHAFC certainly isnt worth £1 Million.....yet anyway.

Each share has a notional £1 value. For some , owning a share in their football club is priceless.
Who would buy them though, apart from the insane and those who simply want to stick a certificate on their wall?
