The dull part of the south coast
It's a Leyland Titan PD3/4.
New to Southdown Motor Services as 418DCD this bus was re-registered to PRX200B before sale by Stagecoach, transferred to United Counties for use as a driver trainer it was later purchased for preservation by a group in the Worthing area and was restored in NBC Green livery, after many many years in storage it was sold to a preservationist in Southampton and restored, sold again after a few months the vehicle was exported to Poland.

No idea who the herberts hanging off it are.

P.S. I miss the old Southdown buses - the 31 to Shoreham, the old No.22 then 59/61 to Midhurst. :down:

There's a lovely section in Alan Mullery's autobiography where he sets off in his car to Brighton for the promotion parade. The traffic is terrible and he can't figure it out - there must be some major event on he wasn't aware of. It was, of course, 100,000 people heading into the city to celebrate...
