The Ben White of today playing mainly as a right back would be a great fit for our team now. He was an excellent centre back in a three for us but as right back he would slot in perfectly.
He would. I have a lot of love for Joel Veltman, mind, so nobody WALKS into my team ahead of him.

Four, clearly.

The 3 midfielders plus Ben White.
Those 4 yes, but Gyokeres has scored 6 in 7 games at Sporting, 21 in the Championship last season, so probably in too, you'd have Trossard, Cucurella, Burn in the squad at least, and with injured Estupinan, Cucurella is in, a tired Mitoma, and inured Enciso and Trossard is in, rotation of CB's and want of a left sided one would see Burn in a lot I reckon.

Caveat: using Brighton version of Cucurella, and Lisbon version of Gyokeres.

Football Manager 2023 Pre-Season.

The Brighton 1st team just couldn't handle that midfield trio. Maupay scores and a late cameo by Locadia who also gets on the scoresheet.

Brighton manager Harry Potter is absolutely fuming!

Here's a question, then: has a club ever played against an entire starting XI formally of their parish? If not, what has been the highest number of 'rejects'?
