Can't say I'm a fan of the current programmes issued by the club and have no motivation to buy any more. Tiny font size, insubstantial match reports with random match photos unrelated to key moments in the match, loads of wasted pages justifying the previous week's abominable performance, and incomplete player profiles of the opposition.

I hope they gain nostalgia value down the years, though.

Certainly taking up too much space and randomly thrown together in no chronological order.

But like dirty mags,it's too difficult to part with them.:p

Oops, no, realised my mistake, No.8 is clearly an Albion player:dunce: Before my time; I started going in 1985.

That's not an Albion player, that's an Albion legend, the one and only Peter Ward! Match was the St Patricks Day, 1979, 2-0 win over Sheffield United that sent Albion to the top of Division 2 at the expense of Stoke. That was despite 10th minute sending off of Teddy Maybank for punching defender. 2nd half goals from Mark Lawrenson and Gerry Ryan. I knew writing that in my diary would be useful some day!

Sadly, I was stuck in the dark situation of supporting teams my mates supported at school. Dad went to egg-chasing schools and I was not brought up as an Albion fan. I realised afterwards that it was probably Wardy, and felt a complete prat. Too late to post then, as I was rushing to get to London. I will quite willingly take a :dunce: and do a :US: against the nearest brick wall lol.

At the risk of you having a go at me, I don't understand 'egg-chasing schools'!?
