I believe I'm right in thinking that tthe Wan Bissaka money was needed to cover the payment to Liverpool for Benteke. which was due in this financial year.

I'm not sure why so many need to bring other clubs finances into the discussion.

Because:
1. To benchmark / compare. This forum covers all football matters and clubs.
2. Lurking fans of certain other clubs are often quick to comment and try to stir it up on any perceived bad NSC news for the Albion. On that basis, we can criticise their less than ideal finances.

I believe there was a 40mill debt to other clubs due this financial year. The bulk of which was Benteke. Pretty sure all of the Benteke add ons would have hit. Unless it was goals related. Sure they may have made 5-10m profit.
