When was the last time an Albion player lined up against England ?

Talking about full international.

Criteria:

1) Not for UK teams or Ireland- there's been a few.
2) Must have started the match.

I'm not sure there is one. (Till the next match- perhaps).

Does he actually count as a being a Brighton player when the game was played?

The game took place on 2nd of June 2018 and although it had already been announced he'd signed a contract and was joining us on free transfer at the end of the 17-18 season, technically football contracts don't expire until 30th June, so his Brighton contract wouldn't have started until July 1st. He was still listed as being a Mainz 05 player during the 2018 World Cup.

Because it makes the question rather easy and boring.

I don't think outside of the UK and Ireland there are any who have actually started a match against England as an Albion player in contract.

Propper came on as a sub. But that seems to be it.
