Good point well made!I tried that with my Fathers programmes but they wouldn’t touch them, that was in Hailsham/ Eastbourne.

Charity shops aren’t junk shops! You can’t give this stuff away. It’s for the bin. Nobody really wants, it’s certainly has no commercial value. Constantly amazed so many people think these things are worth something. Try emptying parents house and even furniture purchased for thousands is worthless. It’s costs to get rid of, it’s the cost of living through the consumer age. Millions of tonnes of mass produced replicated shite basically. We’re all guilty of chucking on the loft and decades later…it’s still worthless!Pass them on to a charity shop?

You are correct, I was not looking to make loads of money out off it ,just seeing if anyone wanted the odd program or two and any other bits and pieces.Charity shops aren’t junk shops! That’s the feller!!!!Is this what you want?
Cheers BH, I will pop in there at some point!i called my mate in record shop and they do have some copies some where, hes going to have a rummage, the shop is Across The Tracks in Sydney Street Brighton.
No, wasn’t suggesting you were. More making point people assume charities and even free to collect will find a home. But there typically aren’t these days, because of the consumer age. Refuse is the only solution sadly, because we all owned and ‘consumed’ too much. Me included! You are correct, I was not looking to make loads of money out off it ,just seeing if anyone wanted the odd program or two and any other bits and pieces.
What format is it? Is it embroidered or printed? Any chance of seeing a photo?just looked online and was the crest from 1948-1970.
Its embroidered, still having problems getting pics up though. I am going to meet another NSC member today i will ask them for some assistance in the matter. What format is it? Is it embroidered or printed? Any chance of seeing a photo?
I do have match tickets from the Goldstone days ,Also a couple of British rail seagulls special train tickets with Brighton and Hove Albion printed on them. Some Albion items from Premier League era (e.g. paper match tickets) do have some value due to massive global fan base of opponents.
Definitely contact the club.Am in the process of chucking out Albion related paper stuff that's going in the recycling, including flyers from the war years (Bournemouth protest, Walk on Archer's home, Hereford walk out), Goldstone Gamble tickets, copies of Gulls Eye, ASMS, a full A3 sized Argus billboard poster about the takeover collapse. Probably a question for the club, but I'm assuming they'd have most of it in their archives already. Just seems a shame to 'bin it.'
You will be wasting your time contacting the club - I doubt they even have an "archive".Am in the process of chucking out Albion related paper stuff that's going in the recycling, including flyers from the war years (Bournemouth protest, Walk on Archer's home, Hereford walk out), Goldstone Gamble tickets, copies of Gulls Eye, ASMS, a full A3 sized Argus billboard poster about the takeover collapse. It is the Brighton and Hove Albion Heritage Society you should contact.
If I still lived in the UK I would probably have been interested myself, but I don't so can't help you.
A first edition Omsung PhineOut of interest, what is considered the most desirable/valuable bit of Albion memorabilia to collectors?
