Also apologies to El Presidente who WhatsApped me asking where our advance copy of the reports were.

I had them but I was asleep on the sofa so didn't see the email, meaning he wasn't able to digest the figures in advance.

A rare 'behind-the-scenes' glimpse of life in the NSC nerve-centre there, folks.

It might just have been a power nap or a long blink.

With identical broadcasting income to us, it will be interesting to see how Fulham and Wolves fare in their first PL accounts.
I'm not sure we'll ever know what Wolves are actually paying.

El Presidente and Bozza (seated), earlier today.

El Presidente: Where's our advance copy?
Bozza: Sorry - got them at 5.30 but I was asleep so only just saw them.
El Presidente: Ha!
Bozza: Soz.

How come? Didn't think we had a pot to piss in...?

It was a technical profit rather than a trading one. The club had previously written off over £6m of spending on the Falmer proposal, but when permission was approved for the stadium were able to add that back into profit. Without it we would have lost a fortune that season.

I'm more interested in the Fridays message, are they selling the Brexit thread to the highest bidder

Income up from £29 to £139m

Wages up from £40m to £77m

Loss of £39m to profit of £12m

Total player spend £57.5m

They will say it’s not comparing apples with apples but do we have equivalent headline numbers for Palace in say their first two seasons in the promised land?
