It looks like the game with Le Havre will be either on the 8th July(Friday), or the 9th(Saturday). Liz Costa is trying to arrange a coach for anyone interested. :)

Sorry, been away from the board a lot - this sounds like matter of fact. Where has word of this game come from?

I have never been to Le Havre, but assuming it's a shithole, I understand Honfleur on the other side of the the Seine is very nice. I have friends who have a house there, but have yet to visit them there. And it's home to the Erik Satie museum...

honfleur is beautiful, birthplace of madame afters. restaurants are generally very good, if pricey. hotels well pricey, stay with your friends if you can!

the satie museum will keep you occupied for all of ten mins, it's not that big!

Don't forget to sort out your passport. This is a public service reminder.

this is going to cost a bloody fortune and be hard to do with access to a car and return in a day ?

is anyone else doing it like this?

Leave it to Liz. You know it makes sense.

Right, this is clearly going to be messy and complicated but one things for sure ,it HAS to be done.A chance to show our strength in Europe !
Let's show them exactly what they're getting themselves into and make them ask themselves whether they can handle being a feeder club to a team going places.
I'm thinking hire car over two days via ferry/hoverspeed.Better get saving.

Just one thing though, I understand that this is a tie up / love in with Le Havre, but what does each club get out of this? More specifically, what does the Albion get out of this?

It's a bit early for questioning like this surely? The point is it's very positive in every way, not to mention the French seem quite good at football meaning we might learn something,so who cares "what the Albion get out of this" (you're probably thinking financially),so lets just get on with it and see what happens.?

My only grumble is that Le Havre are far too small for Brighton, the exchange should be with Marseille or someone.I hope this is successful.
