Doug Rougvie and Willie Young. What a double-hard bastard pairing that was. Shame Young was SHIT.

Mike Trusson liked to leave his foot in on occasions

Hmm hardly a heavyweight.

I remember on Transfer deacdline day a few years back Micky Adams bringing in a couple of nutters in Phil "ex Falklands war hero" Stant and Another guy that we bought in from Swansea who after being bought on as sub proceeded to tackle somebody by putting his head on the floor. Anyone remember his name? Thomas?

I don't remember that bit with the fan climbing in to the players like that. I do remember however in the home leg the Millwall fans in the south stand being confronted with Mike Small when they tried to get on the pitch. There's another name for the team.

awww I wanted to mention that one, they didn't know what to do with themselves when he just stood there & stared them down.

What about that bloke mentioned in one of last year's programmes who played between the war? He once headed a goal from the halfway line but his passion for the game died when he accidentally killed an opposition player by clashing heads.

Now that's hard!!

I'll try and dig the programme out for his name.

Stephen (?) Rees if I remember right but thought it was in the late fifties.

I was going to suggest Stewart Henderson - full back for years in the sixties who taught me how to tackle from behind and take your man into touch without any thought for getting the ball...........happy days when men were men, football was football, and referees really were blind:D

Lammie Robertson - never wore shinpads.

I remember a slate from the Chicken Run when he'd given the ball away (again):

"Robertson, give ya legs to charity!"

What home leg? This was a league game and Small had been sold by then
