Well seemingly none of the coaching staff would talk to him when he was at the training ground over the Christmas break.
Why would the coaching staff refuse to talk to Micky Adams?

Let me guess, it's all Micky Adams' fault?

Why should they wish to? Who was it that allegedly spat his dummy out and continually said that the other players werent good enouigh to play with him?
Isnt the onus on him to make the first move to repatriation.
Well actually it is really.
Reckon we should offer them the twinkletoed Elf as well, and see if we can accumulate £50,000 for both.
.
Did you have an issue retaining staff?
What a ridiculous statement to make, I assume it was done in jest. I believe that Elphick, Virgo or El Abd will be our captain going into Falmer and at the moment the club wouldnt entertain selling Elphick for anything like £50k.
So nothing whatsoever to do with Lynch claiming that others in the team weren't good enough to play with him (Leon Knight Syndrome, as I mentioned earlier) then?
Perhaps Lynch, as a former youth-teamer, had got used to ''teacher's pet'' status under Wilkins (as all the former youth teamers seemed to enjoy) and had a problem with said status vanishing when Wilkins left?
it would be helpful to have a motivated and happy Lynch in the side and quite clearly MA has been unable to deliver that.
I agree that it would be helpful to have him in the side, but why are you so quick to lay the blame at Adams' door for being 'unable to deliver this'? I know it doesn't suit your anti-Adams/pro-Wilkins agenda, but surely you have to attach some of the 'blame' for Lynch's lack of motivation to play for this club (for whatever reason) to the man himself?

As for my teacher's pet comments, Wilkins was undeniably biased towards his former youth-team players, picking them constantly, ignoring their bad performances...exactly what the Adams-haters slate MA for in relation to Virgo.
Putting it as basically as possible, last season Lynch and Elphick played together very well for a season. Adams brings in a lump and plays him ahead of Lynch, even when he is very unfit. Lynch understandably kicks up a fuss.
The blame lies with Adams because he is the manager. He did not MANAGE Lynch correctly. Perhaps Lynch could have a better attitude but I think most people would be disgruntled by the whole Hawkins/Lynch situation because it was very shoddily handled.
