The staff were on the scene in a matter of minutes, along with a defib. Really hoping for the gentleman. But just also thinking about the staff, they were working on him for a long time and were brilliant.

Someone on Twitter was on the bus & said he was made stable & talking. Also said he asked when he got off bus and was told chap was ok. Hope this is the case...

Happens a lot at the Amex unfortunately - lots of people and excitement etc. Must be the 5th or 6th I've seen / heard of since it opened.

Was on the bus...poor chap was only of a couple of seats away,,,,luckily there was nurse onboard who took charge until medical services got there

It was a bus going to Hove Sainsburys

Amazing job by paramedics tonight on are bus a heart attack for a passenger from the game he has survived he was not breathing for 5 mins amazing job by the docter and medices,,just got home after the attack victim was safe and on way to hospital amazing job the doctor and medices and the club staff in keep all on are bus informed and thanks to all the passengers on are bus for their understanding ,,it was the west hove Sainburys bus .i hope he will be in safe hand son at the hospital tonight and gets better god bless him

Was on the top of the bus too. Well done to the two lads who jumped off the bus and began shouting for help which arrived really quickly. They had to go through 5 cycles to get him back. Main steward kept us all informed and even brought us all bottles of water. The clubs old doctor Tim was also on hand and let us know he was conscious etc. Showed again how important to get quick access to a defibrillator. Hope he makes a full recovery as it really didn't look like he was going to make it for a while.

Just as an aside there was a nasty crash after 10pm on the A27 at the back of Shoreham...one hopes no one badly injured

I was at the front of the queue waiting for the equestrian centre bus whilst it happened. I was watching through into the window of the bus. It was frantic for a good 10 minutes. I saw it go quiet on there and thought the fellow fan had died. Puts everything. Into perspective. I shall wake up tomorrow morning and give my daughter a massive kiss and cuddle. There is SO much more to life that football.

there should be access to defibs for all ... i often think about that as i walk back from the seagull travel drop off to my car as i walk by one in rustington. i know the whereabouts of 2 defibs in rusty....but not in LA... surely these things should be common knowledge for all residents? i do like the campaign for all schools to have defibs. the wider access the better.
