Albion conquering the world (slowly but surely)

Just got back yesterday evening from 3 weeks travelling New Zealand, and despite their strange love of egg chasing I was taken Albionly (made up word I accept) suprised on 2 seperate occasions.

As the jet lag hit and I found myself wide awake at 5 am for the 2nd half of the Newcastle Vs Chelski FA cup match I took great delight at watching Chippies goal in the forthcoming FA Cup matches trailer. I then saw this repeated many times on TV, especially on ESPN sports channel, last seeing it in a bar in Singapore on Sunday night (strange looks from locals as I jumped out of my seat to celebrate!). The word is spreading my friends.

In NZ, I got chatting to an Aussie bloke from Brisbane who mentioned he was a Liverpool fan (I suppose he lives the same distance from them as most Manure fans do), I mentioned the Albion and he completely shocked me by asking how the Falmer campaign was progressing and whether McCammon was still a laughing stock! Turns out he sits next to a Brighton fan at work.

Matters not where you go, the stripes are a global brand.

Happy days.
