This year's Albion Collectors' Fair will be held in the Hospitality Suite at Withdean Stadium on Sunday, 25th November (via Gate 21 from the car-park).

Opening at 11am, it will go on until 1pm when the auction of Albion memorabilia will begin.

The fair should have thousands of Albion programmes, handbooks, photos, postcards, fanzines, books, videos, etc - anything an Albion collector might be looking for!

Admission is free and refreshments will be available. All proceeds go to the Albion Collectors' and Historians' Society which is looking to fund a museum at Falmer.

As it's a big venue, there may still be room for one or two more tables on which to sell Albion-related items, so anyone interested should PM me. Cost is £10 per table.

Anyone with any items for the auction should also PM me asap please. We take 10% of the hammer price, you get the rest. An on-line auction catalogue will be issued in due course.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I am still fruitlessly searching for the Brighton v Millwall (1990) programme of my first game. A bore draw and only one of three home games we failed to score in that season.

It was a school trip with Sammy Nelson and we used them as 'weapons' on the way back home through Hove Park. :(

Hellfire.

Daughter's birthday has me at a Bill Bailey evening in Cardiff on that very day,and no wriggle room.

Hope there's some good stuff on the auction list.

And for those without a feeble excuse,go along. It is always good ,and the stuff on show/sale makes you realise how blummin good it's going to be to get the museum at Falmer.

The auction catalogue is now available at www.albionhistory.org.uk.

There are loads of items with no reserve price on them, so you may pick up a bargain!

But as well as the auction, the fair will have thousands of programmes, handbooks, fanzines, pictures, videos, books, etc, for sale, so do come along if you can. And you can meet Gary Hart 11.30 - 12.00.

Admission is free! All proceeds from the day go to the funds of the Albion Collectors' and Historians' Society which is looking to establish an Albion museum at the new stadium.

Tim

PS We are looking to develop the albionhistory.org.uk website soon. It will become, we hope, the first port of call for all Albion historical information.
