I didn't realise there was a debate about Barbs' salary.

And one person tutting over your concerns is hardly the shutting down of debate

So who do you think we should replace Barbs with and how much should we pay him? Or her?

Let the debate begin!

Let’s get that Henry bloke in from Wrexham, he’s used to dealing with big stars

Bit of a cop out. Man says nice things about high profile well paid director shock.

Your main gripe appears to be with what PB is paid, yet he is CEO of a highly suucesful business. It is this attitude to salaries that consistently damages our national performance in the global economy.

In the Uk, if you’re crap at your job you can’t be sacked but if you’re very good at your job and well paid then people say your pay is ‘obscene’.

Hate to say it right now, but we could learn a lot in this respect from the US where top performers are well paid and respected whilst highly paid under performers (water CEOs take note) are sacked.

It's not really a gripe if I'm honest and I think I was misunderstood in the first place. It's Bloom's money and I don't doubt Barber does a good job. Honestly, I'm happy if Bloom's happy. That's the way it works.

It's just that when I saw someone slapped down for picking up on his eye-watering salary to be told "he's elite", I was just curious how that person would go about justifying that statement.

And to reiterate, none of it matters because Bloom considers it money well spent. As long as he pays his taxes, it's all fine with me.

Hold up... I'm pretty good at doing an exciting Microsoft Visio diagram, where do I apply for this £3m job? 🙂
