But, but, but... I read somewhere on here that he's just an opportunist who swooped in at the right time to steal all the glory and we'd be European Champions if Dick Knight had stayed on!

(OK, so I made up the last bit)
Wrong. He bought the club and sunk 300m of his own money in so that he could build a hotel next to the A27

Right: P&R queue roof now please. I think they can afford it.
Could we get decent P&R queue wireless reception first please ? Would cost less than 10k and they even have a (crap) IT provider to do it for them.

Albion could earn up to £58m from add ons relating to player sales. For the rest of the season I think we should possibly be wanting one team to win the Premier League and Champions League

Thanks that’s very interesting. Any ideas what the fluctuations under ‘Other’
Thanks that’s very interesting. Any ideas what the fluctuations under ‘Other’ might be? Massive increase in the last year.
It is to do with the New Monks Farm Development, and is offset by an almost identical figure in cost of sales.

PB is worth every penny. He’s elite and he’s helping to make us elite too.
I am going to take issue with this narrative that Paul Barber is "elite"

He is clearly a very competent CEO, but I've met loads of very competent CEOs who don't command salaries of £3m per year.

Just to reiterate, I'm not suggesting he's useless, but I would be willing to bet you 30p that this club will see no discernable difference in performance on the day Chelsea decide to poach him. Just like when Winstanley and Ashworth left. All competent, all replaced by similarly competent people.

But this idea that Barber is elite is a bit weird. If you ask a Vancouver Whitecaps fan what they thought of him, you'll get a very different opinion, suggesting that he's not so elite that he can make a silk purse from a sow's ear all by himself

If they can afford to play Bloom back £74 million then I'd appreciate if they could send me back that £10 I paid for Rod Thomas in 1999.

Do we have to want Chelsea to win it the season after for more add ons?
Most of these clauses usually relates to CL as that is a big factor in a clubs capacity to pay up. So we might want that... maybe.
