CAMRA happen to rather like Dark Star American Pale Ale enough to give it one of their Gold Awards last year. Pity you don't agree.

I've still got two unopened (!) bottles of Beckets Albion Bitter, brewed in 1983 to celebrate our appearance in the Cup Final - As Beckets Beer was pretty well undrinkeable in 1983 (Hence the Brewery no longer exists), I'm pretty sure it wont have improved with age.

Well, I'd imagine the 3.6% volume is so it's good to sell at Amex, without getting all and sundry rat-arsed before the game even starts. They sell beer at Swedish Stadiums (only in plastic mugs and bottles), but the problem is they also let people in off their face - so f***ed up that they would get refused entry to most pubs..... but allowed in to football
