A mid table finish again will be a massive success and hopefully keep our manager next season.

If we can only sell one star player that will also be a bonus.
Why a massive success it would be the same as last season, we are in a position to push on and try and do something special

I would love 6 points against Palace this season.

We never fired in those games under Potter. I'd love RDZ to be the manager that's really got the wood over them
That's a new phrase for me. Apparently, more common in Australia.

As for me, no sales in January, top 7 finish, then the signing of the mythical prolific striker in the summer.

Better points and position this season than last season would do me.

Eighth in the league would be good and a good run in a cup. Hopefully De Zerbi will be with us for a couple of years at least.

Minority I expect but no Europe for me. I personally do t think we have the strength in depth to compete yet. I understand argument more talent will come but won’t stop the lure of champions league football for those who will simply throw money to stop l,Ayers playing against the. (Chelsea, city etc).

Top half finish

Keep either/both MacAlister and Caicedo

Finish above Palace and Chelsea

Arsenal to win the league. Not because I like them at all but it’ll be nice to see someone other than city/Liverpool do it And they seem the most likely at the moment.

Get close to what we did in 2022.

Sorry, but 55+years of having your young naïve, optimistic hopes crushed into insignificancy does that to a person

But glass half full, more points or better finishing position than last year and 6 points off Palace :albion2:

Staying up. We don't have squad depth to do better than last year. Lose to Everton and liverpool and Leicester and we'll be looking over our shoulders. Happy new year to everybody

I'd be happy with top ten. Compared to other spends and general club size that's pretty good. Easily pleased me.

Last season was something special!
The last month was.

the middle bit was gash

IF we can match or closely match last season come MAy It will be a huge achievement after the upheaval.

Next season could see us pushing towards a potential Europe spot, if one of the over inflated teams burst ( thinking Spuds/Newcstle, maybe Chelsea)
