That broadcasting income chart is totally crazy. I mean, I knew the sums involved, but when you see it laid out like that, it makes you realise why half the championship is on it's way to bankruptcy

Something to keep you occupied whilst still waiting for Southern to deign to send a train to Falmer, or in my case, some typing to keep me from falling asleep whilst driving up the M40.

There's some large monetary figures lurking in your report, which makes me / us very lucky to have TB bank rolling the club.
I just wonder where would we be now if TB wasn't around.
Amazing times ahead

Thanks. The two most interesting this for me

Our average wage of £47k. Much higher than I expected. We average £47k. Jeez
Everton's losses. Totally eye watering

Masterful as always!

Is it intended, that if you take the first letter of the each of the first 29 paragraphs, it spells out... :D

I also loved; "Only a Norfolk handful of clubs..."

Someone asked me if it’s deliberate that if you take the first letter of each sentence of the review it spells “Ali Jahanbaksh is the Tehran Pele”. Not deliberate, just an amazing coincidence.

Outstanding analysis, great writing, amusing acrostic.

What’s not to like? No dwarf porn - that’s what.

Did the same person then not comment that it’s very peculiar that Alireza is associated with Tehran seeing that he was born in Jirandeh, grew up in Qazvin and spent most of his time playing football in Rasht?

The other association was fine though.

El Presidente please generate an acrostic which includes ‘Qazvin’ next time...

@El Pres, what a wealth of information, brilliant.

Everton’s £64m loss is astonishing and since then they’ve spent huge again in three transfer windows, on players who’d demand big wages.

How do you sauce Albion accounts from 40 years ago?

I bought them on a DVD from Companies House!

Shocked that we pay around the same as West ham in wages, I thought they were throwing around big bucks. Our league position seems to match wages paid which makes sense.

In fact looking at the figures, our aim of top 10 is not that fanciful.

Leicester are doing amazing things with what they are spending and gives hope that Brighton could challenge for a champions League place in the next few years. Fine lines.

A very interesting read, and highlights how much money is needed just to survive.
Wages crashing through £100 mill, and Bloom pumping in another £49 mill are the stand out figures.

I presume the 10-15 million for Knocky will come into play in the next set of accounts ?
