Negotiations have been going on since Saturday both regarding the amounts and payment deadlines. Record knows that V. Guimarães set as a minimum bar 10 million fixed euros plus 2 million in variables, with 15% in future capital gains, but Sporting did not say 'yes' to this amount.
The biggest pressure factor at the moment is the fact that Brighton put on the table yesterday a proposal of 12+2 million for the player. Still, Sporting has the lead in the business and everything indicates that there may be white smoke in the next few hours.
