That’s a very good comparison. I’m often sceptical when people do player comparisons but about 20 seconds in I said “my word” to myself, good call.

We've been sorely missing an Alan in the team since Navs left.

Reading the report, it appears they have two, yes 2, Alan's!! Just uncalled for, and wholly unnecessary. Nearest we have is a false Lallana. If only he could lose a couple of L's and an A, we would be set.
