[TV] Alan Partridge: This Time

OK, time to own up.
I hate Alan Partridge. There, said it.
Maybe it's because I've been in the radio/entertainment industry and met people just like him.
Tried to watch 4/6/21 episode with Princess Ann but felt uncomfortable watching it. He is just embarrassing, but then that is the character I guess.
Out of interest, did Ann actually appear or was he left alone somehow? Think I know the answer which is why I just cant watch. A case of 'been there, done that'

I don't think anyone was on the edge of their seat waiting for you to own up lol.

Anyway, comedy is subjective of course. Not everyone will like the same comedy but if you've worked in the industry and seen people like him then I'm surprised it doesn't resonate with you more.

And the whole Princess Anne thing wasn't really about getting Princess Anne on, it was more about how Alan is around the upper classes and that plot line was also more about a lead up to him having another on air breakdown.
