The saddest thing in this whole episode, apart from the fact that his fate is uncertain, is that Allan Johnson was seen by all in the region as a fair reporter who had respect of almost all with whom he came into contact. By imprisoning him his captors have in effect reduced the amount of coverage of their cause, whatever that may be.
