I think Alan Green is a bad idea.

Beat me to it. I generally switch the radio off whenever he commentates nowadays unless I'm really desperate for something to listen to. For a commentator he is far to keen on his own opinions, some of which verge on the bizarre (I remember him lambasting City fans last season for displaying banners which had probably been supplied by the club rather than hand-stitched by candlelight). And he referred to Liverpool as 'we' after the 6-1 result too.
