Saw him last year in Brighton for the second time. Still just as funny as ever.

Quite. You'd think he'd have at least had some kind of second string to his bow by now. A second comedy character even. Fuckit, The Fast Show churned them out by the dozen. Al Murray is patently stuck in some kind of so-so comedy ghetto, with no obvious way out. And it wasn't even very funny to start with. Oh well

He had a TV show full of new characters, with the Pub Landlord not even it.

I just phoned up to get tickets, they said he's not on in March... then i saw the initial post was in 2008
