Can only assume Towell was injured as he should be on the bench ahead of him.
I would have like to see arron connelly on the bench playing well for under23s but he is currently injured, as he posted on twitter injured at the wrong time of the season

Pleased to report that Chuba's been joining in the HT drills with the same vim and gusto as the other subs (admittedly that's all relative, not much vim and gusto at all)...

Great business by Arsenal, shocking scouting by this Belgian club. Arsenal have somehow managed to flog the useless sloth for £2m.

Yep, and now we need to be like Arsenal to survive in the PL. I'm not sure I'm still going to like football in five or ten years time (even if I'm still around).

Well since the article states he was on loan there last season, and he impressed for them, that suggests the scouting job did a good job to get him in the first place. Now that he's already played for them, I don't think it has much to do with the scouting department any more. If they feel he's worth £2 million based on what he's already done for them, then it's not necessarily bad business, especially for a player so young. It's not inconceivable that he's improved since we saw him. Arsenal must have thought he had some potential to offer him a contract on the first place. Plus the article says he hasn't actually gone yet, and £2 million is what Arsenal want, not what they have agreed. He's not worth anywhere close to £2 million based on what I saw of him, but I haven't seen him play since then.

We're selling a right back who didn't quite make it for 5 million correct?

So 2 million for a useless striker might sadly be about right. Belgian league 6 in 16. Hardly a high standard compared to Champ or PL. Few gems and lots of very average players I expect.

Having impressed on loan I expect him to totally disappear once a deal is signed though.

"Based in northern Greece, around 300 miles from the capital Athens, PAOK started this season on minus two points.

It was part of a punishment after Ivan Savvidis, the club's president, walked on to the pitch with a gun 12 months ago.

The Greek-Russian businessman had the weapon in a hip holster when he entered the field after PAOK had a late goal ruled out for offside during a game with AEK Athens, who went on to win the league."

Flipping heck!

"It sounds idyllic yet Greek football has been marred by crowd trouble in recent seasons and PAOK were deducted three points - but managed to overturn the sanction on appeal - after Olympiakos coach Oscar Garcia was hit by a toilet roll thrown from the stands at PAOK in February 2018."

That's not going to do his heart much good.

Cakpom by name, Cakpom by ability. Shudders at the very thought of this useless article.

For going onto the pitch with a gun, and getting the game abandoned, they were only deducted 2 points!

"Winning promotion with Brighton and Hull has stood me in good stead. I've learned from those experiences and it is helping me deal with what is happening now."

I would love to know what he learned from being at the Albion and from the 178 minutes he played...

We have a lot to thank him for. Surely putting him up on the legends boards is the least we can do.

Bit of a stretch to say he was involved in the promotion, isn't it? Only start I remember was against Blackburn at home. Despite it being he type of home game we'd regularly been winning at a canter by 2-3 goals all of that season, we really struggled to create anything and it was like playing with 10 min until he was replaced by Hemed after an hour. If memory is correct, we scored within 10 mins of him going off and won that game and the following 4 games to acheive promotion without Akpom playing another minute.
