It’s not. As Bozza pointed out that was Dortmund’s rules not Albion’s.
Yes but if you read through this thread you’ll see that it quickly became accepted by some that it was sit anywhere for us too. Even the misperception is risky so let’s hope the club makes it clear that this isn’t how it will be.

Does the ticket site allow people to queue from before 9am or does it give you no advantage logging on in advance?
You’ll get stuck in the queue. Better to wait until 9.30 and you’ll jump the queue and get straight in.

Before 9 you'll sit in a virtual waiting room.

At 9, all those in the virtual waiting room are given a random spot in the queue.

There's no advantage in being early - the allocated queue positions are entirely random.

Recognising it is probably me, but the Albion comms around our Away games and who might be eligiable and what when etc appears quite confused. Has been confusing, especially the combination announcements and yet you need to do separately, and at different times, dates etc.

Just looking for a simple life: one fixture, one announcement. Under god…

The dull part of the south coast
Also sit where you want in general usually requires less than 85% of the capacity available to work effectively due to hidden gaps etc. There is a long (and boring) mathematical and human behaviour analysis on this stuff that was produced by the norman chester institute when guiding clubs on unallocated seating

Maybe germans are just more organised. Anyone who has visited a beerhall in munich can see how well they use space
I have no intention of getting to the Amsterdam Arena (or whatever name they call it) at 5.00am to bag a seat by putting my towel on it. I shall be an English gentleman, I will arrive at an appropriate time, I will find my seat, and should an odious ne’er do well be occupying it I will politely ask him to f*** orf.

Cheers, really helpful. As you might tell, I’m not the usual ticket buyer in our group. The points threshold for Ajax has left me stranded away from my usual group, so I’ll be purchasing myself.

I’m presuming too that multiple devices is a valid approach to try. I know when buying Taylor Swift tickets recently for instance that the instructions very much warned against trying from multiple devices at once.

I'm not aware of multiple browsers on multiple devices being an issue previously.

But don't blame me if it does cause an issue!
