[Albion] Ajax spares

I will be checking the weather forecast carefully this time and dress appropriately.
Hoodie and jeans did not work well, for the hour long queue for the train and subsequent 2 hour journey home.
I was secretly chuckling to myself when I saw a couple of women in shorts thinking they would be cold. My jeans would keep me warm, I wouldn't get wet undercover, would I? Karma bit me in the backside walking back to the car in a big way. I moved my car key to a 'drier' pocket in order to avoid any electrical mishaps. Turns out I became insanely jealous of those wearing shorts and not having to deal with soaking wet clothes sticking to their legs for hours on end.
Looks like showers tomorrow evening

The dull part of the south coast
I was amazed, and delighted, that the Eek! Athens game went to general sale to those with Purchase History as I currently don't have Albion+, thought that would be a sell out for sure. Over the moon to get one for that game, was I. Not surprised this is a "proper" sell out, based on Ajax history (rather than current status: shite). Don't blame the OP for asking, I'd thought about it, don't ask don't get and all that.
There’s a big difference between blagging a home ticket in your home town to purchasing a match ticket for an away game being played 2,000 miles away. Chuck in travel costs and hotel accommodation and it’ll cost you north of £500 minimum.

My son and I both have COVID. Might be putting both our tickets on the exchange tomorrow. Is there a cut off?
Hello Skaville.

Sorry to hear you are unwell with the COVID. If you are not able to attend, is there any chance you could please very kindly help out a fellow Albion fan and ska punk fan by selling your pair of tickets to me? Please drop me an email on yamms_schmitz@hotmail.com

Many thanks. James

There are strict penalties for passing on tickets, so you are highly unlikely to find anyone who will do it.

Your best bet is to keep a close eye on:

...as if we can't go the club will list our tickets on there for others to buy.
Thanks very much for the tips. I will keep an eye out on the exchange. I did call the club up to confirm over the strict penalties topic. They said it was fine for someone to pass tickets on to me by emailing the e-tickets directly. In fact they actually encouraged me to consider that as an option. Thanks however for flagging and for the advice.

I'm assuming you are expecting these free, next you'll be asking someone to pay your mortgage next month ?
Of course not. Always pay my way in life. In addition to ticket price, I usually grab people a beer when they help me out with these things. There might be idiots out there expecting freebies. Not me.

Thanks mate. Only my second time and it’s been pretty dreadful to be honest. 6 days in. Not sure I will be able to make tomorrow even if we test negative
I had it last October and again at the beginning of this October - it knocked me out for two weeks and took another week at least to feel sort of normal, nasty stuff. I really want them to make the jab available like the flu jab.

Airport? No thank you. I will either be lucky enough to go, or watching it on tele in my front room in the North Laines.
No such place. There's North Laine, Windy Laine, Hilly Laine etc.

I'm not sure how old you are but vulnerable people ie asthma can have an annual covid jab when over 55. It might be worth investigating?

Was it a Mr Barber on the reception desk you spoke to? He's always very forthcoming with this kind of helpful advice

Didn't realise they'd opened up the ticket exchange to non-season ticket holders... result! Can't go tomorrow night due to something else family related... so just listed:

Area S1H - Row E, Seat 206

Hope someone on here can use it. Gutted I can't go, and would be even more gutted if the seat remains empty.

If anyone is about to return any Ajax away tickets I'd be most grateful for a heads up just before you do so.
