Yes, obviously. He got banned, it seems no one else has, and the club posted videos celebrating what he did. How can you not see he's rightfully pissed off?Exactly! He's sore that he got found out and others might have got away with it!

Compassion, consideration, understanding, context etc. Good start anyway. Don't condone beer luzzing but feel very sorry for this victim of the punishmentKangaroo Court; "an unofficial court held by a group of people in order to try someone regarded, especially without good evidence, as guilty of a crime or misdemeanour."
There is video evidence (allegedly) and he has admitted the offence, is that not 'good evidence', what else do you need?
How do you know that no one else has? Others might have been banned and just accepted it and not made a big fuss about it. We all know what happens at the Amex if you throw something ... a pie or bottle of water.Yes, obviously. He got banned, it seems no one else has, and the club posted videos celebrating what he did. The club posted a celebratory video, what he did was a tiny part of that (if visible at all), but agree he was a bit unlucky to be singled out by an Ajax steward for it when he clearly wasn’t the only one who did it - the ban has followed his ejection by them (I suspect that’s binary, and not following any additional evidence being reviewed etc). Hasn’t helped himself by posting his confession on SM looking for sympathy though imo.Yes, obviously. He got banned, it seems no one else has, and the club posted videos celebrating what he did. I don't think people getting punished for something they have admitted to doing is a 'victim'.Compassion, consideration, understanding, context etc. Good start anyway. Don't condone beer luzzing but feel very sorry for this victim of the punishment
It's the thin end of the edge.I don't think people getting punished for something they have admitted to doing is a 'victim'.
It’s not the most expensive hobby that’s influencing in person football these days it would seem (Im not talking about £5.25 for starbursts either)Not having bought a pint in as long as I can remember, isn't beer luzzing a rather expensive hobby ? And then you have to wait in queue to get another one !
...and his main line of defence seems to be everyone else was doing it. I'm of the same view the club have called this right.Essentially a 5 match ban for being ejected at an away ground (due to behaviour - which he’s admitted in the article, so ‘seeing the cctv‘ is kind of irrelevant now). I’m even more certain the club got this right reading his account of it
Saving that one for future use...It's the thin end of the edge.
If you accept this, the next thing you know Paul Barber will be coming around to your house and selling all of your furniture on gumtree. And Tony Bloom will brainwash your dog into thinking black is white so it gets confused at zebra crossings.
Your moral compass obviously needs adjusting. This isn’t a 5 game ban it’s a 10 game ban, I can’t believe people are supporting the club on this matter.
Sure, but so did an awful lot of other people, (no, doesn't make it right)The guys admits he threw beer though....which is against the very clear and explicite rules at the Ajax stadium.
So, given he was ejected by stewards, handed to the police, his ID details were given to the club and he has admitted the offence which explicitly goes against both the rules of the ground but also those at the Amex, what do you suggest would have been the appropriate punishment? 2 games? 4 games? Pelted with confiscated bottle tops? We were all warned when buying tickets that any anti social behaviour would not be tolerated - I don't see the club has much option here. It's hardly the crime of the century but they can hardly ignore it either. And it was bloody annoying on the night but like most people I just muttered a bit and moved on.This isn’t a 5 game ban it’s a 10 game ban, I can’t believe people are supporting the club on this matter.
Technically it may be argued that you are correct, but I'm glad I don't live my life in such a black and white manner.I don't think people getting punished for something they have admitted to doing is a 'victim'.
I feel the 'limbs' video is a bit of a red-herring. Someone posts it, realises after the event it should not go up......deletes it. No big deal.Sure, but so did an awful lot of other people, (no, doesn't make it right)
The beer luzzing is shown very clearly in a video which the club itself put up on social media to show how wonderful 'the limbs' were.
A quiet word would have sufficed IMO
Perfectly put.So, given he was ejected by stewards, handed to the police, his ID details were given to the club and he has admitted the offence which explicitly goes against both the rules of the ground but also those at the Amex, what do you suggest would have been the appropriate punishment? 2 games? 4 games? Agree with all that bar the last sentence - some empathy would be good to see. We don't always behave perfectly, I dont anyway, and it could be you or I next. The point I was making is that he had more empathy without his post - seems he was far less hard done by than has been claimed.Agree with all that bar the last sentence - some empathy would be good to see. We don't always behave perfectly, I dont anyway, and it could be you or I next.
