I think it the BAA not airlines threatening to strike, but it's all gone a bit quiet over the last week or so which maybe good news...or not

Virgin Atlantic CC could be striking in the New Year!Anyone got more up to date info on this?
I am travelling on the 26th from LGW. Not fussed about the return getting delayed as not back to work til the 7th, however, do not want to be stuck getting there!!

They'd better f***ing not go on strike. We're flying to Orlando on Saturday, and if our family holiday of a lifetime is screwed up by a bunch of striking tossers I may not be resonsible for my actions.

I can get out okay but getting back could be a problem. As far as it goes people who are traveling better be aware that if the BAA close down UK airports it's not the responsibility of the airline you're flying with to put you in a hotel.

If we do, you'll be the first to know. Not sure how it works as I've never been before. We're staying in Animal Kingdom itself, and have 5 day premium tickets. We may well have 1 day where we won't be using them as Mrs P is INSISTING we go to a massive shopping mall on Christmas Eve.

I'm not sure about the premium ones either. I have had five day hoppers that never expire but only have the water parks left on those. It may be that yours may expire within so many days of the first use but you never know.
Edit: to say, just checked and they do expire 14 days after first use so thanks anyway. Hope you have a great time and there are a several shopping malls to go to. We like Orlando Premium Outlets best.

Thanks both. Must admit I am just a smidgeon the wrong side of over excited. Can't bloody wait until Saturday. This is my first ever long haul holiday. I've never been outside of Europe as yet in 42 years.
