Beauty of an airshow is you never ever have to pay to get in. Just establish base camp with a picnic hamper anywhere beyond the perimeter fence. You KNOW it makes sense!

Dont need to I just sit in my back garden or pop into the field next door and I get to see the shoreham air show for free, Most of the planes circle right over the top of my house which is great fun unless I'm working night's.

My Dad took me to an airshow at Farnborough in 1953. There was a Vulcan a Valiant and a Victor and lots of other noisy aeroplanes flying around. I was 7. Still an outstanding childhood memory.
I can still remember standing in the front watching the display. He must have been brave because the year before a plane had crashed into the crowd killing lots of people.

Kill two birds with one stone, sit on the beach and catch some sun and at the same time see the planes...free!

I went to Shoreham last year and it was very good. The Vulcan bomber was due to visit but they had a technical problem and couldn`t get the safety certificate through in time. I do hope its there this year it really is spectacular.

Yes go to the Shoreham show it has all sorts there.

Just a couple of days back, the Vulcan flew low over the back of the Downs away from Shoreham. My guess is that it was returning from the airport
