Has anyone else come across these little gems?

I like to think of myself as something of a soup connisseur, and enjoy all soups from Heinz 57, through to making my own.

Until now l have looked upon all packet soups as something of the poor relations, often powdery and with little depth of flavour.

On a visit to Waitrose a few weeks ago l came across Ainsley's offerings, have sampled them several times since, particularly enjoy the Wild Mushroom flavour, and have fallen in loved with Mulligatawny.

Most definately a cut above anything that the likes of Batchelors or Knorr produce.

I was recommended to try them a few years ago by a colleague. Yes, the Wild Mushroom is good, and I am rather partial to the Thai Chicken.

He always reminds me of my old mum who once said, “I do like him, he makes me laugh but I couldn’t eat any food he’d prepared”

Yes she was a racist.

I used to have a couple a week at lunchtime when I was working. His instant couscous was good too.

All soup reminds me of vomit so for that reason I’m out.

I think this needs to be probed a little more deeply. Since no two soups are the same in smell and appearance, and there is also a range of different vomits (albeit all have a thematic character associated with gastric acid and pepsin). So what I'd like to know is this. Have you experienced the full range of soups and, likewise have you studies the colour, texture and smell of a good range of vomits? If so, was this part of some sort of in-work training, or have you simply had the bad luck to have had your soup day experiences routinely sullied by vomit? I think we need to know.

Wasn't that the B side of a John Lennon single, back in the day?

Then, surely it would be diced carrot soup?
