I see mr Agdestein scored another brace for the development squad today, and his performance was described as classy. I don't know how he did at Dover but is he worth a pop at the first team (maybe an appearance on the bench if C.M.S or barnsey are out) Or is it far too early.

I think, first of all, it may be appropriate to give Will Hoskins a serious opportunity given that he is now fit and was, at the time, our most expensive signing ever. Hopefully his hip injury is now completely resolved.

His only match 'experience' was against Cardiff and he slotted away an excellent strike in the limited time he had on the pitch.

I am convinced he is going to work well up front with CMS !

Agdestein appears to be coming on extremely well and I am sure he will become part of the squad very soon.

I think he might be worth a pop. I think he'll need Barnes to get an injury before he gets a chance though. I hope he has a run, after his displays for the development squad he's earnt it.

Indeed, Hoskins should defo get a chance. Just thinking maybe if Barnes gets injured or suspended, Hoskins slots into his place and Agdestein gets a place on the bench.

He played a game and a half for Bath City.

Was taken off at half-time in the defeat at home to Kettering and then an unused sub in the following defeat to Ebbsfleet.

They've now sent him back, so nowhere near enough good enough for a place in the 16 with us at the moment.

He looked way off the mark against Olahense in Portugal and Charlie Oatway spent the whole time he was on the pitch telling him what to do, where to go what positions to take up etc. So I would say he is a fair way off of 1st team consideration at the moment, at least this was the impression given.

Nice to see the Brighton website has him as a Danish striker in the latest report. Thought he was Norwegian. Seems even the club don't know much about him lol

Unfortunately with most of the development squad this new 5 sub rule has severely restricted they're chances of being involved in the match day squad, It's going to take some sort of injury/suspension crisis for a lot of them to get they're chance which is a shame.

Gatting used to bang in the goals for the stiffs, as did Holroyd and even Hart last season - but none of them were good enough to play for the first team

The fact he appears to have been an abject failure at Bath, when somebody like Holroyd had a very productive loan spell last season at Stevenage a division higher and he was still utter pony for us suggests that he probably shouldn't be anywhere near the first team squad yet
