Why do you do this? What purpose does it serve, after every win, for people to come on here and ask "where's the moaners, now?" or "why are the moaners so quiet?" or "what will they moan about today?"?

Do you honestly think you are some how undermining the argument of people who moan when things are bad by pointing out they don't moan at the good things?! Seriously, in what world would it be logical to expect people who moan because we're not getting the job done on the field to come out and moan when we do get it done?

I believe we've had threads like this after every win/fight back to a draw since October (and then they usually get bumped when we lose the following game - of course, I hope that doesn't happen here). And every time it is the same nonsense. We played well, we won, all the players gave their all, there isn't really anything to moan about, so people aren't moaning. Why would you expect something else?

You're not a better fan because you don't moan when things are going wrong. And you're not a better fan because you gloat at those that did moan when things were going wrong but stay silent when things go well.

Let's celebrate a great win on the back of great performances from every one of our players, and the general sense of optimism that I've not felt for a while, instead of trying to get one over on other fans, eh?

The Astral Planes, man...
None of this would have happened had Dean Wilkins been manager still. We would have had the league wrapped up by now and be booking the open topped bus for Madiera Drive.

I am still fed up with that LIAR Dick Knight and his backstabbing ways.

Tosser - What she actually said at half time was that in one training session this week the team did more work than all the training sessions so far this year; and I think the results prove this. BHADEB:love:

Would be nice if those who normally moan came on here tonight and said something positive. Expect thats too much to ask though.

Spot on, threads like this are twatish.

Moaning has happened because there has been everything to moan about

There is a certain smugness to threads like this that is just wanky beyond belief

Has it ever crossed your little mind that there are some people (and you're one) who will find just about anything negative to say ? Considering some of the hysterical posts over the last few weeks I feel perfectly justified in mocking the moaners.

I take your point but I can also see Dougal and Acker's points as well. There HAS been a lot to moan about this season, but unlike say Withdean Wanderer (who I think most of us would agree is just an immature, ignorant half-wit with too much time on his hands) most people don't actually enjoy moaning and slagging off the club - I certainly don't.

However even worse than the moaning were the threads that appeared on here whenever we actually managed to win a game under Adams saying "Ha! where are all the anti-Adams people now eh? That's shut you up hasn't it?" - whereas of couse a single win proved nothing. Which is a bit like where we are now after one good win under Slade ...

I notice Withdean Wanderer and Vulture kept their heads down, as they always do when we don't lose.

So, the new moan is to moan about the people asking where the moaners are? If I agree does that make me a moaner? Just asking.

Yes. Yes it does.

So you're justified to be annoyed at the moaners for constantly moaning when things are bad and staying silent when they're not, but if I moan about your thread and their hysterical ilk, I'm small minded? Right.

...but we're still in the relegation zone. The way some people have been waxing lyrical, people would think that the win yesterday was worth 40 points and we have jumped into the play-offs.

Yes, it was a great win but we are not out of the woods yet.

No that would make you a sycophant Jim, and we hate them even more than the moaners.

Ooh - I've never been called one of them before - weren't they some tribe from the Old Testament that did a lot of begatting?

But I thought we all liked to moan - when we lose one lot moan and when we win the other lot moan at those that moaned when we lost. And when we draw then both sides can moan or not depending on the starting XI and how they thought Davies, Cox and Virgo played. In fact, if there was no moaning then we'd be called Brightonfans.com (and we'd lose 90% of the posts on here).
