Hopefully [emoji120] we’ll see that this season.

Could be sick.

I’d like that to be with Welbeck please.

We have the potential for a good side IMO. I think we’re close to taking it up a level although I know that won’t be popular with the ‘Potter Out’ brigade.

Great energy and great movement but needs to handled properly. Definitely not a striker but loves playing in that kind of inside forward position.
Love a player with pace too. Him and Lamptey (assuming we keep Tariq) will frighten some teams.

Absolutely what we need. Pace to get in behind and to run at players. Hopefully he can make a difference. Add to that Ali Mac looked like a brand new signing tonight.

Thought he looked good at Newport , 10 mins of the plane one training session and fitted straight in . Tonight he was MONSTER , he played with a team he doesn`t know yet at a higher level , and he was our most dangerous player by a mile against the most skillful side in the league . Love the guy and hope he gets started with Tariq up top , but Potter has to pick a consistent 11 , otherwise were going down .

What I am most excited about is that he does the simple things right. Here’s how I see the difference between him and many of our other players, so far:

Percy: 1x piece of skill, 1x simple, completed pass
Other Albion attacking players: 1x piece of skill, 1x piece of skill, loses ball/misplaced pass

Dangerous, but isn’t forever trying to make a pass that only De Bruyne can make. Can’t wait to see more of him.

Like to see him demanding the ball faster into feet, we've been painfully slow in our build up at time.

Said it on the match thread, tonight he provided us with a reliable out ball. That was a big part of our better defensive performance because the ball didn't keep coming back every 10 seconds.

An encouraging start.

His body language looks 20 time better than either Connolly or Maupay, hopping about, twitching, raring to go.

No doubt he'll get dragged down soon enough ;-)

I'd like to see him up front with Zeqiri or preferable Welbeck

That's exactly how I saw it. He played with directness and a certain 'joie de vivre'. Confident and not showing too much respect for the opposition. Maupay looked the complete opposite when he came on.

Controlled the ball something Maupay can't

Tau, Caicedo, Lamptey, Biss, Lallana (When fit), Welbeck (See Lallana).

That's some pace and skill right there. I can see Bloom's, Barber's, Ashworth's, and Potter's bigger picture more clearly now.

Europe here we come. [emoji6]
