Spare a thought for anyone who didn’t make the squad for the champions. Especially any who ‘switched allegiance’ to be the ‘star man’ at Ivory Coast. Imagine that eh. 🤣
Imaging doing all that and then not getting picked over a player who was only going to be fit for half the tournament. 🤣

Just had drone footage flying round the stadium and hardly anyone has left early. Gonna be some massive queues for the train!

Adingra has been transformative for the Ivorians.

Really looking forward to having him back. Hope he gets the same reception Ali Mac got. Just amazing we've had a world cup winner and an African nations cup winner in consecutive seasons.

Worthing
Delighted for him.

Looked a real threat throughout.

Hopefully, this will give him even more confidence for the run-in.
I wonder if the club will let him celebrate for a week prior to his return…

It’s a fair way off watching an awful Côte d’Ivoire get hammered in their group game before the Wolves match and secretly celebrating because we’d get Simon back unscathed.
Wasn't there a thread suggesting he was already a few miles above the Canaries ?
