Remember Leeds are far too big for this tournament. It is actually an insult to force them to play in this sort of competition. They will gladly bow out, after all they are Leeds and they don't mind losing.

Shouldn't Leeds be fined for making so many changes to their team?

MK Dons have a very good setup now, and a good young manager. Much as everyone dislikes them, they are in a good position to get back to back promotions.

Lets face it, if we did make it to the final it would be far better to play a team like Leeds, then at least the crowd and atmosphere would be half decent...can you imagine how many the likes of Bury would bring?

Gillingham are 4-0 up so can safely say that they are through.

I think id rather have them rather than either MK Dons or Swansea (providing we win tomorrow) in the next round tho.

If both Leeds and also Doncaster (2-2 at present) go out, i wouldn't like to call who would get to the final from the north section. But wonder what the odds on Morecambe making it to Wembley two years in a row?

Looking at it only Doncaster might bring a large amount.

We've still got a long way to go though, if we beat Cheltenham there are three strong sides waiting, Gillingham have a good home record, Swansea and MK speak for themselves.

Very true, the southern half of the draw looks more competitive at this stage...Donny at Wembley would be good though...considering our ground situations over the past ten years or so (until they moved), it would be a bit like gatecrashing the Lord Mayors Banquet.

is the rule not five first teamers or something?

"Each Club shall play its full available strength in all matches. The Board will from time to time issue a policy as to what constitutes ‘full available strength’. Any Club failing to meet this requirement will be required to pay a fine of up to £5,000."

Expect another points deduction, Paddy. ;)

Something like that, five or six, who have played a certain percentage of games. Not sure exactly, it just didn't look like the team Leeds have had most of the season, I may be wrong.

So in the Southern section are:
Ourselves/Cheltenham
Swansea
MK Dons
Gillingham

And northern:
Stockport
Morecambe
Grimsby
Bury

If we go through any home tie is a bonus.

Is the Area Final over two legs ?
