Sounds a broken man :(

Wilkins NOT HAPPY!

Players not learning the finer points of the game. Positional sense non existent for recent games.

I think its another case of him not seeing the work in training getting to the pitch.

Too many kids, without experienced players to guide them! :nono:

My wife came to her first ever Brighton match today - and she is understandably wondering if football makes you that angry every time you go.

Just leaving the injury-time catastrophe to one side for a moment, even before that it was an incredibly frustrating game.

Bournemouth were/are a very poor side, and were there for the taking. If we could have put together even one sustained period of decent play of perhaps 10/15 minutes we would probably have won 2 or 3-0. But we just couldn't do it.

Throw in a first half of world-class hoofing rather than controlling the ball and passing to a team-mate, and you have a less than gripping spectacle. Yet we very clearly had better passers than they did and just failed to exploit this fact.

I don't leave matches early - but with the 92 minutes up and the ball 'gone safe' we moved to leave as I was sure the ref was going to blow the moment the ball was cleared. Then heard a large collective intake of breath and turned round to see the Bournemouth bloke firing into an empty net - and I just stood there in utter disbelief. I'm sure I'll see exactly what Henderson did later on Sky, though I'm not sure I want to.

I don't get to see the Albion anywhere near as much as I'd like due to work commitments, and so normally find some thread of consolation in most matches attended. I'm really struggling today.
