GP is looking increasing out of his depth. His approach is far too idealistic and the team looks so fragile and lacking in toughness. Not the man to get the ugly results needed over the course of a season. His naive approach just won't work at the highest level.
Potter out!
Allardyce in!

Quick goal on the restart is our only hope. God this is depressing, total control to start with but clueless in the final third. First Bournemouth shot goes in and we fall apart.

I didn’t get excited with the control. In modern football, especially if you don’t have brilliant finishers (do clubs at our PL level ever do), possession and control can mean so little, often quite the opposite. Counter attacking teams love it, waiting to pounce.

Why are they all so incredulous that we are losing? Have they not seen this coming?

Can anyone truly see Potter giving them a rocket up their arses as well as the hair drier treatment at half time or back at the training ground as they need it.

We need to sign a striker. We desperately need to sign a striker. A striker could be the difference between staying up and going down.

Repeat ad infinitum.

Not sure signing a striker will save us ! Our final ball in the final third is shite - Aguero would struggle to score goals in our team with the quality of service on offer. I’m getting that sinking feeling now for the first time this season.

I saw Maupay manning to one of our players before they scored. Then after that Ryan and Sephens having words. All is not well.

It amazes me how quickly we can go from looking nice and confident to looking like a bunch of headless chickens in the space of a couple of minutes. What a long week this is gonna be. Siiiiiiiiigh...

Never really agree with blaming the manager, except it seems lately we have been hesitant to take many risks with the line up. Would really like to give Trossard as much pitch time as possible to get him rolling and more consistent. Don't see Solly much these days which is depressing especially when he played quite well last season.

Why ? Potter is the problem.

Well this is a game changing moment for Potter. What he does in the dressing room at half time and how he gets the team to perform in the second half will be telling. Might be one of his greatest moments for us this season, may be one of his greatest failings.

True, except we all know it'll change nothing and we're just half way to another 4 or 5 nil defeat. 'Greatest moments'...who are you kidding?!
