The Albion Way - always playing the worst teams in the PL into form.

Mr Bloom, please bring some PL quality in, even if on loan. Shirley the short term cost, will be worth it, to secure your investment.

5live looked in depth at possession stats last night. Their conclusion, now the most meaningless attribute and stat in PL football. Winning teams are happily sitting without the ball, to mug possession suckers off.

p.s. Those poor fans who’ve travelled yet again. Three years of away agony.

Swansea signed Brewster on loan. He would have been a decent signing for 6 months and LFC would have likely preferred he went to a Premier League team rather than a Championship team.

Quick goal on the restart is our only hope. God this is depressing, total control to start with but clueless in the final third. First Bournemouth shot goes in and we fall apart.

Not quite, because I don't think the issue lies with how we're playing but who's playing.

Webster cannot defend. But still starts, like why?

Because Potter sees Webster and Dunk, as our Beresi and Hansen, brilliant with the ball, creating attack after attack.

Meanwhile, in real world of PL losses and draws.

Amazing how many think we don’t need new signings. This squad is severely lacking in quality.

We cannot capitalise on our possession. This has been he story of our season so far under Potter.

We rely on Mooy too much. And there is no decent competition for Maupay.

Dunk, Webster and Duffy are the same player, and are all limited. We're playing a youngster at right back. Defence is where we need to overhaul.

Well Mr Potter, What are you going to do now?

We had that under control and in 5 minutes of panic and poor game management totally f**ked it up.

Duffy (@ even not 100%) & Murray (creaking @ 36) had to play. Nous and battle-hardened. Thought we’d get done tonight but from here on in, GPott has to pick a team and play it for a few games. Best battling players in each position.

Serious questions need to be asked now. Potter starting to fail but hey ho he will say they were a class team blah blah

As inspiration goes, he's up there with a puddle.

Well this is a game changing moment for Potter. What he does in the dressing room at half time and how he gets the team to perform in the second half will be telling. Might be one of his greatest moments for us this season, may be one of his greatest failings.

65% possession and 9 shots to their 6, yet they find themselves 2-0 up with just one shot on target. Bonkers.

I know.

If only stats won games. But as Hyypia found out, they don’t.

Feck off Potter- utter shambles. It's been coming for a while. Typical Brighton play them off the park first 30 minutes then capitulate. NSC is quite right to have a meltdown. If you don't take your chances then you get punished. knew when I saw the team sheet we were fecked. Got it completely wrong again. These have lost 10 in 12.

The problem is that team are gutless. Score against them and they become disorganised and look like conceding many.

Sadly, once again, it looks like no new players in January when we desperately need to add quality.

It wasn’t so long ago we were thinking about a top 10 possible finish. At this rate we’ll be lucky to finish 20th!

Its the charge of the light brigade without weapons. Our defense is dog shit. Webster needs dropping, he cannot defend as well as Ireland International Duffy. F*** the sideways passes across the back, defenders need to keep the ball out of the net and Webster is all at sea positionally often.
