TEAM NEWS

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is expected to make several changes for the all-Premier League FA Cup third round tie with Brighton.

Midfielder Dan Gosling could feature after returning from injury against Watford on Wednesday.

Brazilian defender Bernardo is a doubt (hamstring) for Brighton, who reached the quarter-finals last season.

Under-23 Swedish forward Viktor Gyokereses will be in the squad but Maty Ryan and Alireza Jahanbakhsh are both away at the Asian Cup.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe: "There will be changes to the team, this game comes after a lot of games for clubs.

"We're all looking forward to the game. The third round is always a mark on the football calendar, so it's great to be at home and we want the same attacking flair from Wednesday."

Chris Hughton: "The FA Cup is the best cup competition in the world, we did very well last season. It can always add to the momentum and feel of your league campaign.

"It's a slight respite from our league campaign and in some ways it's different.

"But it's exciting and we want to have a good run. We were given a tough draw but we want to go through."

Hoping to get this on a stream, I enjoy games against Bournemouth but Eddie does seem to have the beating of us whenever we play as he has had the players to change things around. We now have more options and I am hoping to see CH out think the smug one for the first time as an Albion manager. I am seriously pissed off that we don’t seem capable of beating the Pluckies. Today’s the day

See Smug has already got one over us.
They have signed Solanke for £19m from Liverpool. The Mail report says we were also in for him.
They've also taken Nathaniel Clyne on loan for cover.

Oh well, definitely means we will win today!!!

Gut feeling our second XI will be stronger than muffs so will be more a case of rub of the green and officials who dont rely on VAR for intelligence. Really going to depend on how many 1st team regulars appear for both sides and who wants it the most & CH been playing it down despite bigging up the competition as a whole suggests not too many Albion 1st team regs.

Good team. Might have a little bet on us now. 1-0 Brighton/Andone I think.

Just got on....50/1 which seems pretty generous.
