Brighton to Lewes, Lewes to Haywards Heath isn't a bad journey either. Just leave a bit earlier.

Depends on your timing, but that's either a 32 minute journey or a 47 minute journey. :nono:
32 mins...so that's an extra ten minutes on your journey....not THAT much surely

Some joker bought the tickets for our journey. 10am from King's Cross. That means getting to Haywards Heath for 8.32. That means getting getting the train from Brighton at 7.33 (arr. HH 8.05) . That means getting up at 6.30.

SAKE.

So I'm scrounging a lift.

It's an annoyance but it has to be done, just like road works!

I am sure that I read somewhere that the work is scheduled for the next 3 months causing disruption and buses HH to Brighton every weekend during that period.
